Hello :} can i know if is it ok if there are a few scratches on the lightspeed holder, will it affect the ability of the hockey skates. Does your hockey skates has any scratches on the lightspeed holder? Pls i really need to know to make sure that my hockey skates is still ok. :{.

The lightspeed holder expect to have scratches after being use, this is perfectly normal and will not affect the performance of the skates what so every, the only thing it will affect is the visual look of the skates, to not worry, you can either replace them (if you really feel like it) or simply ignore them. The only thing that would affect the lightspeed holder is missing screws or loose blades

Ok. Oh ya for the heel stop, as beginners should we put up our arm at a 45 degree angle to do the heel stop. I find it kinda hard without lifting my arm. By the way how did you skate backwards with your legs straight?? I really need to know!!

It’s always a good idea to use your arms for balance when learning new stops, so yes do so. About skating backwards with straight legs, while learning, stick to having your knees bent until you’re comfortable changing the style to suit yourself, you’ll have less balance if you skate with your legs completely straight, so I’d get use to the normal way first, then try.. (It is the same principle for skating with straighter legs, just not bending your knees as much, but as I said, I wouldn’t advice)
