Stickhandling Drill
- Quickness
- Agility
- Transitions
- Passing Lanes
Player 1 starts backwards and quickly skates behind net – pivoting forward, stepping out and making a pass to 2.
2 then does the same manoeuvre passing back to the line 1 started in
Wide Moves While Protecting The Puck
- Shooting off balance
- Mobility
- Puck protection
- Heads Up
Skater starts by performing a tight turn around the first and second cone (protecting the puck), then skates to the first rink divider and makes a wide move (protecting the puck) around it. Skater then continues to the 2nd rink divider and makes another big/wide move around to the opposite side and puts a quick shot on net.
