I had my visit today, the doctor said that I dont have that terrible foot, its just a bit of flat footing but no pronations and supination (luckily)..

I’ll probably invest in the Superfeet, but i’ll wait until i go to get my new custom orthotics for trainers, and since it’s a sport-specialist in these stuff, i’ll see if they have something that suits better for my feet.
If not, or if it is too expensive, since i don’t skate more than once a week right now, i’ll get the yellows icon biggrin Forum

Received the Yellows today, already trimmed them to fit and put in my skates! First impression is good, they look comfortable, more than stock footbed! Gonna test them on ice today, and eventually re-bake my skates while putting them in after heating if i feel something wrong!

Will give the complete feedback tomorrow icon smile Forum

Second skate with the Yellows, not rebaked the skate yet.. but I’m feeling i won’t be able to skate again without them!

They’re just too good on the support side to not be used.. Cheap and functional product.. can’t ask for more! And as far as i’ve seen, they don’t take up that much volume, also on Vapor skates that are not the biggest skates in terms of volume icon smile Forum

Quick update on the Superfeet, as i was having some kind of small heel lifting on my left foot.

I had my custom orthotics for shoes today, I’ve seen that my left heel goes deeper in the insole than the right one (more heel cup on the left insole).

I was wondering if i can find a way to adapt a bit the superfeet without heating em up (that will destroy them)?
Maybe standing on them for a while on the ground?

Another idea might be rebaking, but I’m kinda worried about it since X4.0 are not super stiff and i don’t want to risk to lose stiffness.

hey guys, this may sound like a silly question, but would the superfeets make your skating different? because i understand your foot is put at more of an arch, so would that not also ajust your legs a tiny bit too? also i do alot of tricks on my heels, toes alsong with jumping, do u think these would be fine for that? cus i think it would be a wee bit weird landing a jump and feeling a lump at the side of your foot haha, long story short, are they really that different from normal, and are they suitable for freestyle? thanks icon smile Forum

I’d say you wouldnt suffer due to them, because they dont create the arch, they support yours? ….logical guess but i dont think it’s gonna degrade your skate…i’ll giivey opinions on ‘em when i get mine at the weekend, but Chris is the man to answer this cause he uses em! icon smile Forum

They will not restrict you in any way, they simple (as GeordieBlades said) support you and give you additional comfort. They will indeed make your skates feel a little different, but after a few minutes you should adjust to them. Never known of anyone to have negative feedback on them (at all) I even have them in my shoes, high tops and trainers (different version of the Superfeet of course).

well, at the moment i’m not really feeling any pain in my arch, i have in the past, and still do, but its only for around 2-3 minutes until i get settled, also i think my feet are still growing so is it really worth dishing out £30 for a size that will last me 6 months? (had my current size for 6 months now) Is it made for people who are suffering from any arch pain or is it just for everyone to have a little more comfort..? and it will be the same just feel different at start? no sacrifice in any types of tricks balence wise? icon razz Forum sorry for all the questions icon razz Forum i just don’t think i need to spend the money unless it is really worth it or is a really significant change.. thanks icon smile Forum
