Fast Hands are the most versatile stick handling aid on the market today. Fast Hands are the first fixed-shape training tool used to develop fast and accurate puck handling skills.
The angles and dimensions of Fast Hands are set at the ideal measurements for height, length, width, and weight for developing fine motor skills in the wrist, forearm and shoulder.
First impression
It seems like another stickhandling trainer that wouldn’t really offer much development for an intermediate to advanced player. I quickly found that there are endless amounts of stickhandling drills that even your BEST hockey players will struggle to perform. This device has an effective training drill for players of all ages and skill levels.
Using the Fast Hands
The Fast Hands were a tone of fun compared to some of the other stickhandling trainers I’ve used. Its small enough to carry around and because its 1 piece, it takes seconds to set up down on the ground and start training. The fact that its made from steel also ensures its durability and stability (no more having to set up lines of pucks or cones after accidentally knocking one over). Fast Hands say the dimensions of their new trainer are set to target and develop motor skills and muscles in the wrist, forearm and shoulders. You quickly learn exactly what they mean after using this thing for even 10mins, after a couple of hours my shoulders and forearms were on FIRE! incredible training tool and a must have this season!
Drills with the Fast Hands
Due to the Fast Hands unusual shape, there are an endless amount of drills that you can work out from this device. You would normally have to buy add on or extend other training aids to get close to the same number of drills available on the Fast Hands. Regardless of what aspect of stickhandling you need to work on, the Fast Hands has a drill for you.
Overall
I seriously enjoyed my time using the Fast Hands, the is a device I’ll be adding to my daily training plan at home. Using this device for even 15mins a day will seriously have an impact on your stickhandling. Check out a the drills Fast Hands have to show in their own video.
